Douglas Ward, a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a BA in Communications, has been a life-long resident of Manhattan. Upon graduation from UMass, Douglas worked as a school teacher in Harlem and took graduate courses in Early Childhood Education. His strong interest in advocacy for young people eventually took him to Park West High School, where he did Guidance Counseling for a number of years and organized annual youth seminars on stopping gun violence. These meetings brought together students, community leaders, and policymakers to develop substantive and actionable strategies to address this chronic problem.

During this time, his long-held interest in health and exercise inspired Douglas to get ACE personal training certification. Since receiving this, Douglas has gone on to work at the some of the most prestigious gyms in New York, such as New York Sports Club, Eastern Athletic Club, Synergy Gym, and Casa Specialized Fitness.

A strong love of New York City and its architecture inspired Douglas to get his New York Real Estate Salespersons License in 2015. Douglas specializes in the East Village, Murray Hill, Flatiron, Gramercy Park, Midtown East areas of Manhattan. His enthusiasm and sincerity ensure that each of his clients receives a thorough and well-planned apartment search, the finality of which is a new and satisfying home.
